Sarah Antonelli is the Owner and Principal of Stillpoint Geospatial, an independent consulting practice shaped by years of working with spatial data inside large, complex organizations.
Prior to launching Stillpoint, Sarah served as GIS Director for a global energy company, leading an international team supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects across the US and Canada. That role gave her a front-row view into how geospatial systems evolve over time and how challenging it can be to redesign a system that is already in active use.
What ultimately led Sarah to start Stillpoint was a desire to help organizations bridge the gap between long-term geospatial strategy and the realities of day-to-day operations. She has worked closely with teams who know where they want to go, but lack the time or structure to redesign systems thoughtfully while keeping day-to-day work moving.
Stillpoint Geospatial exists to translate geospatial strategy into systems, workflows, and governance that people will actually use. Effective geospatial programs depend on more than good data. They require processes and tools that fit the way teams work.
Why “Stillpoint”?
The name Stillpoint reflects the idea of finding clarity amid complexity. In geospatial programs, competing priorities, evolving technology, and day-to-day operational demands can make it difficult to see a path forward. A still point is a place to pause, assess, and move forward with intention, an approach that influences how Stillpoint works with clients.
